“How to Win Deal of the Year with Vision Board Cards” with Vicky Lee

“How to get motivated to succeed, right now!”

I get asked this question a lot from business owners who feel like they are just pounding the pavement always trying to get new referrals, new customers, new investors.

They always ask, “I wonder if I’m on the right path. If… I’m eventually going to succeed at what I’m doing or if I should just throw in the towel now and try something new?”

I had a client just like you who was lost. I gave him a tool which I call vision cards. After he used the tool, he won this award for Deal of the Year which is being featured in the San Diego Business Journal.

In this video, I’m going to show you how you use this very powerful tool. Remember your original question, “Am I going to succeed… at what I’m doing?” In order to begin answering that question, there are 5 questions that you need to ask yourself, right now. Write down each question on the front of a blank index card.

  1. “Am I willing to be criticized?”
  2. “Am I willing to receive assistance or help?”
  3. “Am I willing to do the work, whatever it takes to clear major hurdles?”
  4. “Am I willing to partner and kiss ass with those I don’t like or don’t agree with?”
  5. “Am I willing to make it own my own?”

Now, you’re not going to answer these questions. I just want you to ASK the questions. Because asking causes you to look in a new direction. So it doesn’t matter what the answers to these questions are. What matters is… that asking these questions causes you to go in a different direction. There isn’t a right answer. There is a right path… where all your answers lie.

Once you are on that path, by asking the right questions, I want you to respond to each question with a commitment. And then write your commitment down on the back of the card.

  • Pick up your card.
  • Ask the question to yourself outloud, “Am I willing to be criticized?”
  • What’s your commitment? What do you commit to?

I wrote, “I commit to allowing my light and my life to be criticized. Bring it on! Show me how I can be a better person. I commit to being better. In fact, I commit to being the best.” This was my commitment. I want you to write down your commitment.  It can be similar to mine, but you know when you’ve hit pay dirt when it begins to feel intense.

If it’s not intense, it won’t pay. Intensity = power. In order for these vision cards to be powerful, your commitment has to be powerful. And don’t mistake power for size. What fuels an atomic bomb is a tiny microscopic molecule.

Let’s go to your second card. “Am I willing to receive assistance or help?” What do you commit to? I wrote, “I commit to asking others to SEE me, HEAR me and BELIEVE in me.” Why?

Here’s my 3rd card: “Because I commit to doing the WORK, internal and external to overcome every mental, spiritual, emotional and financial block that is put in my way.” Now I want you to write down your commitment on the back of your 2nd and 3rd card. What are you committing to in response to these questions?

Let’s go to your 4th card. This is how I answered it for myself. I inhaled the question… hmmm… and I wrote down, “I commit to expanding WHO I AM, to include both you and me, my enemies and my allies, my friends and my rivals, my partners and my competition… so that eventually my product and service rules… the entire market.” Now you write down your commitment in response to this question.

Let’s go to our 5th card. Look at the question and then answer it with a commitment, “I commit to standing up for something that will stand on its own… so that I no longer have to STAND UP for it. I can sit down and let my product and service speak for itself.” Now, you write down your commitment.

After you have all your commitments in place, are you still doubting in your mind whether or not you are going to be a success?

The real estate mogul had 2 objections to doing these vision cards with me:

  1. He was used to dealing with hundreds of millions of dollars and this was a stupid $5 million deal.
  2. This process was too touchy feely.

When he got the award, all the big-wigs were in the room and he realized… that they all saw his little mustard seed ($5 million deal) as soon to be growing into a huge tree with tons of ($30 million) potential. And if he didn’t do that little deal, he wouldn’t have earned their respect and he would have missed his chance to put his name back on the their collective radar. That little deal brought him the bigger deals that he really wanted. It was bait! Now, he doesn’t mind being touchy and feely.

I want you to use your vision cards as bait, to hook your abundance to your soul path and attract bigger and bigger opportunities that match the level of your commitment. If you’re willing to commit, you’re willing to succeed.
